Filecoin announced the schedules ended Oct. 15. The estimate covers vesting-related flows; the Solstice upgrade separately changed how block rewards are distributed.

Filecoin said Oct. 15 that vesting schedules for Protocol Labs and Filecoin Foundation allocations had ended, and a FilecoinTLDR model puts the resulting drop in daily vesting-related Filecoin (FIL) inflows at about 75%.

The estimate concerns FIL entering circulation through vesting releases, rather than all new FIL. It is a model projection, not an observed tally of flows after the schedules ended.

Filecoin’s Solstice upgrade on Oct. 19 separately began shifting a share of block rewards to registered Service Orchestrators. At activation, 5% of rewards went to the service stream and 95% to consensus mining.

The service share is scheduled to rise to 10% during the first protocol quarter. Later increases are set in five-percentage-point steps tied to quarterly Filecoin Pay volume meeting specified dollar thresholds. The design identifies Service Orchestrators and clients paying for services as intended beneficiaries; consensus-focused providers may receive a smaller direct share as the service allocation grows.
