The Guardian said Nixon relied on local organizing and did not advertise on television. After her loss, Nixon said she was returning to work and added, “2028 is around the corner.”
CBS News reported before the vote that Trump was scheduled to campaign for Florida Republicans. EconoTimes previously covered Trump’s planned Florida campaign appearance. The Guardian also noted that Florida’s Republican statewide victories came alongside Democratic upsets in South Carolina, Texas and Ohio.
