“Food Wars” Season 4 is touted to come out next year but little known about the upcoming installment apart from this fact. However, rumors would have it that the anime will be departing from focusing its attention to Soma and Erina since the previous installment already developed them by quite a mile.
Instead, “Food Wars” Season 4 is apparently going to shift its attention to secondary characters in an attempt to widen the interest of its audiences. Indeed, shows like “Hunter X Hunter” and “My Hero Academia” have seen stellar success when it decided to expand the story of its side characters.
Even “One Punch Man” is speculated to expand the backstory of its ensemble since Saitama’s story has been heavily established in season one. But it seems that the people behind “Food Wars” Season 4 are already gearing up for this as the remaining bouts will have the other rebels take up the spotlight.
There are four remaining matches that will be featured in the next installment with tuna, beef, and wild rabbit the main ingredients for the first three. The last bout, however, will not have such restrictions as the chefs will be free to decide what they will cook and the only limitation imposed is that it should follow true gourmet cooking. What’s more, “Food Wars” Season 4 will also feature a two on two matchup that will be occurring in the fourth bout.
After the defeat of the other rebels in the previous matches, Soma and Erina will be the last ones left standing and will have to work together in order to overcome their biggest challenge yet. In “Food Wars” Season 4, both these chefs are going to create a main dish and appetizer that should complement both the plates’ flavor.
It goes without saying that this match is going to be an interesting cook-off to behold as the theme alone has a lot of potential to explore several avenues. As for the opponents of the rebel faction, Rindo and Eishi will be teaming up to deliver spectacular flavors. Both these characters have been set-up as world-class chefs and Soma and Erina certainly got their work cut up for them in “Food Wars” Season 4.
