‘Food Wars’ season 4 spoilers: What happens to Soma and Erina?
The anime series returns at the peak of the Promotion Exams Arc where Soma and Erina are currently leading a team against the latter's father, Azami Nakiri, and the sitting Elite Ten Council. “Food Wars” season 4 will begin with the start of the 2nd Bout of the ongoing Régiment de Cuisine.
There will be a total of five rounds in this Régiment de Cuisine that will all be likely covered in “Food Wars” season 4.
Fans still do not know how many episodes this installment will have. Counting all the manga chapters yet to be adapted to anime, a 24-episode run will suffice to cover the source material until the final installment chapter 315.
‘Food Wars’ season 4 ending: Will Soma fulfill his dream of defeating Joichiro
The manga series has abruptly ended and how the story wrapped up received mixed reactions from fans. It even affected some fans' excitement towards “Food Wars” season 4.
Many argued that Soma's biggest ambition was to defeat his father, Joichiro, even before he entered Totsuki. However, that was not even part of the final story arc. Many have seen it coming ever since Joichiro was shown being defeated by Asahi Saiba. While Soma and Erina still got their happy ending, not many fans were on board with how Soma's original dreams were practically forgotten in the end. This is most likely going to be the way things would end in “Food Wars” season 4, too.
