"Fortnite" 6.01 update launch is finally here. Season 6 is set to launch on October 3.
"Fortnite" Season 6 is finally here as it is already October 3. Players, expect servers are going to be down as Epic Games release new season 6 content on all platforms. Well, it shouldn't be surprising anymore as it was already announced.
A new "Fortnite" update 6.01 requires downtime and scheduled maintenance. It will go live after the servers are back online for PS4, Xbox One, PC, Nintendo Switch and Mobile. According to Express UK, the maintenance is scheduled to begin in the morning and will include all games going offline for several hours.
What to expect on the Fortnite new patch?
There will be new content for "Fortnite" Season 6. In a previous report, Epic Games confirmed they are going to release a brand new LTM.
The "Fortnite" new time-limited game mode (LTM) is the first major update of Season 6. With the new game mode, players are going to battle to control and defend disco floors placed around the map.
"Fortnite" Season 6 will bring fun and party. Players will earn points by performing emotes while on the dance-floor-it means, they will show off their funky stuff while under attack from incoming teams.
Although it is not yet Halloween, there are several "Fortnite" Halloween 2018 details leaked, and as well costumes have been popping around the map. Players are also tracking down best Llama locations, and there are also new skins to come.
Despite that leaks, Epic Games have not announced if they are going to release a "Fortnite" new LTM, gear, and other items for the spooky holidays yet.
"Fortnite" Season 6 update will be available to download later today, October 3. The developer did not reveal how long servers will be down. Download sizes may differ by platform. However, all patches will include the new Season 6 limited time mode with Disco Domination.
