CoinDCX restored access to most futures trading on Oct. 30, but users still cannot add exposure to four token contracts in Indian rupee (INR) and Tether (USDT) pairs.

SOPH, ERA, GTC and LA remain restricted in those pairs. For these contracts, orders may lower exposure, but new positions and additions to open positions are blocked. The remaining controls are precautionary.

The restrictions followed an incident involving a global liquidity provider. EconoTimes previously reported on the earlier futures limits, which let traders reduce exposure without placing new positions. That coverage said CoinDCX had not identified the provider. The earlier limits came without a date for a full return to trading.

CoinDCX said its risk team would monitor the four tokens for unusual volatility and possible market manipulation. Broad access has returned across the exchange's futures markets, while these four token contracts keep tighter order rules.
