Poland’s Internal Security Agency (ABW) says six people face organized-crime charges in an ongoing probe into alleged military-component transfers to Russia; four also face espionage charges.

ABW said one of the four is a Russian woman. Anadolu reported that she is 37 years old.

A court ordered the four suspects held in pretrial detention for three months. ABW said the other two face noncustodial preventive measures.

ABW said the alleged shipments involved components for Russian ammunition and weapons production. The agency said the activity could strengthen Russia’s military capacity.

The investigation is supervised by the National Prosecutor’s Office in Bialystok. EconoTimes previously reported on the six detentions over alleged exports of defense-related components to Russia.
