The Israeli government allocated 50 million shekels (more than 14 million euros) in 2026 for equipment at West Bank outposts and illegal settlements, France 24 reported.

The outlet said the funding included drones among items it described as so-called “security” equipment. Its report focused on drone use in the occupied West Bank, where Palestinian farmers described feeling watched.

Farmers told France 24 that settlers and the Israeli military use drones in the area. The report also cited activists and researchers who said some surveillance was aimed at tracking newly built Palestinian structures.
