FxWirePro: Asian markets remarkably down, gold back below $1,200 mark

All the major Asian indices were trading on a lower note on Monday. Gold was trading around $1,196 mark while silver was trading around $14.47 mark.

Australia’s S&P/ASX 200 was trading 1.13 pct lower at 6,115.40 points.

Taiwan stocks close was trading around 0.74 pct higher at 10,438.11 points.

Shanghai composite index down more than 3.0 pct and China's CSI 300 index down 3 percent.

South Korea’s Kospi was trading 0.30 pct lower at 2,260.08.

Hong Kong’s Hang Seng index to open up 0.6 pct at 26,717.60 points.

Japanese banks will be closed in observance of Health-Sports Day.

U.S. banks will be closed in observance of Columbus Day.
