Data released so far:
- Australia: September trade balance came at $3.017 billion with exports rising by 1 percent and imports declining by 1 percent. Australia’s terms of trade improved with the export price jumping 3.7 percent and import price rising by 1.9 percent.
- China: Caixin manufacturing PMI declined to 50.1 in October.
Upcoming:
- Switzerland: SECO consumer climate report will be released at 8:15 GMT, along with October CPI inflation report at 8:15 GMT, and PMI report at 8:30 GMT.
- United Kingdom: Nationwide house price report will be released at 7:00 GMT, followed by Markit manufacturing PMI report in October. Bank of England (BoE) will announce rate decision at 12:00 GMT, along with the release of quarterly inflation report.
- United States: Challenger jobs report will be published at 11:30 GMT, followed by weekly jobless claims report at 12:30 GMT. ISM manufacturing PMI report will be released at 13:45 GMT. EIA will release weekly natural gas inventory report at 14:30 GMT. Vehicle sales report for the month of October will be released at 19:30 GMT.
