Guangzhou Automobile Group Co., Ltd. (GAC) said exports of vehicles under its own brands totaled 223,000 in the first 10 months of 2026, a company record. The reported cumulative figure does not match a simple addition of the company's September and October numbers.

October exports totaled 26,017 vehicles, up 80.8% from the same month in 2025. GAC's September update put exports for the first nine months at 197,701. Adding October's figure gives 223,718, which is 718 above the newly reported January-October total. GAC did not say whether the 223,000 figure was rounded or explain the difference.

The company also reported year-over-year increases in October wholesale volume of 547% in Europe, 49% in Southeast Asia, 95% across the Americas, 307% in Africa and 273% in the Commonwealth of Independent States. GAC gave no absolute regional totals and reported wholesale volume separately from exports.

In the Americas, GAC said October wholesale volume rose 331% in Colombia, 232% in Bolivia and 223% in Brazil. It reported a 41% year-over-year increase in the United Arab Emirates and a 146% month-over-month rise in Kuwait.

GAC's January update set a 2026 overseas-sales goal of securing 250,000 vehicles, with the company saying it would strive for 300,000. That is a sales target, separate from the export count in the latest update. GAC has linked its overseas push to regional expansion and localization, including a new-energy vehicle display at the Paris Motor Show and plans for deeper localization in Europe.
