Gabriel Holding A/S bought 530 of its own shares in the week through Oct. 16, bringing its treasury holding to 3.38% of issued shares under a program capped at 5%.

The company’s Oct. 19 disclosure put the holding at 63,919 of 1,890,000 issued shares. Trades took place on Nasdaq Copenhagen through Danske Bank A/S, which acted for Gabriel.

The notice contains a date mismatch: its summary table places a set of daily share counts under Oct. 5-9, while the detailed appendix dates the transactions to Oct. 12-16. Gabriel’s Oct. 12 disclosure recorded different Oct. 5-9 volumes: 24, 90, 100, 82 and 100 shares.

Since the program began May 12, Gabriel has bought 8,810 shares at an average price of DKK 261.16 apiece, for a reported transaction value of DKK 2,300,818. The company held 55,109 of its own shares when the program started.

Gabriel’s May 12 announcement authorized purchases of up to 39,391 shares, with spending capped at DKK 7,342,886. The limit is tied to a maximum total holding of 94,500 shares, equal to 5% of share capital. It includes shares already held when the program began.

The company said it may use the shares in acquisitions or employee share-based incentive plans, which could benefit key employees if those plans are used. Gabriel bears the repurchase cost within the announced spending limit and expects to cancel shares left unused.

Gabriel said the buyback is being conducted on Nasdaq Copenhagen at market prices under authorization from its general meeting and EU rules for share repurchase programs. The company cited Article 5 of the EU Market Abuse Regulation and the European Commission’s Delegated Regulation 2016/1052. The program runs through March 16, 2027.
