Geneva Rock will offer $4,000 annually in scholarship awards. A $2,000 award will be issued in the fall and the spring semesters.
The Geneva Rock Scholarship is designed to offer financial support to students and inspire them to enter and progress in construction and related engineering industries— where more people are desperately needed.
“There is a major shortage of construction personnel in today’s climate, said Bryan Flake, Director of Human Resources at Geneva Rock. “Without construction, our economy could not handle expansion. Geneva Rock wants the world to know—especially those looking to join this outstanding workforce—that these jobs are literally building the future. We hope you’ll consider joining us!”
“At Geneva, we believe in investing in those who are investing in the future,” said Jim Golding, President of Geneva Rock. “Our hope is that this scholarship will inspire many to join the ranks of this powerful industry filled with workers, engineers, builders and creators.”
