Two clinicians at Georgia Orthodontics & Children’s Dentistry say they were named to Atlanta Magazine’s 2026 Top Dentists list, making the recognition a repeat for the practice after both appeared in 2025.
The practice announced Monday that orthodontist Jay V. Patel, DMD, MS, was included in the orthodontics category and pediatric dentist Justin Chong, DMD, in pediatric dentistry. It said the recognition appeared in the magazine’s April 2026 issue; the magazine’s digital editions page lists an issue for that month.
Atlanta Magazine’s publicly available Top Dentists page displays a 2023 list. Its description says dental professionals took part in a survey conducted with Professional Research Services Company (PRS) and that listed dentists’ licenses and standing with the Georgia Department of Community Health were checked.
The practice’s announcement described a survey and license screening for the 2026 selection. The magazine’s published description, however, is for its 2023 list.
Patel called the recognition “a meaningful honor,” according to the practice’s announcement. The practice has offices in Milton and Lawrenceville, Georgia, and offers pediatric dentistry and orthodontics. It says its pediatric dentists and orthodontists coordinate care and share records.
