- Russia-U.S. - Syria: In the latest turn of event, Syrian President Bashar al Assad announced that he would be meeting with North Korea’s supreme leader Kim Jong-un. North Korea has confirmed the upcoming meeting between the two.
- Russia-UK-Skripal: In the latest move, it was announced that Julia Skripal is planning to return to her homeland Russia. Russia said that it would provide the necessary support to Julia to return home.
- Korean Peninsula: President Trump announced last week, after his meeting with North Korean envoy Kim Yong Chol that the summit on June 12th is back on the agenda. North Korea has replaced two senior officials (defense minister Pak Yong Sik, Ri Myong Su, the Korean People’s Army’s (KPA) chief of the general staff) ahead of key meeting with president Trump after replacing Kim Jong Gak, director of the KPA’s General Political Bureau and former defense minister last month.
- Palestine - Israel: fighting has once again broken out between Israel and Palestinian protesters after the death of a woman Palestinian Paramedic. Israel has begun probe into her death. The latest round of fighting undermines the recent cease-fire agreement between Israel and PA, brokered by Egypt.
- Turkey-Israel-United States: As the relation between Washington and Ankara sours, the United States is set to decline F-35 sales to Turkey.
- Italy election: Italy’s new populist government plans to resettle immigrants away from Italy.
