Yellow Card's October purchase of GoMoney establishes its presence in Brazil and lets customers make local collections and payouts in Brazilian reais, including through Pix, with stablecoins used for settlement.

GoMoney has applied to Banco Central do Brasil (BCB), Brazil's central bank, for authorization as a virtual asset service provider. The application awaits review and approval. GoMoney continues operating under Brazil's transitional regime while the request is pending.

GoMoney dates to 2018, and its founders will continue to lead the business. Yellow Card will own the company in full as a subsidiary. No purchase price was made public.
