Google said Oct. 20 it will begin a global rollout of Gemini tools for small businesses in the coming days, giving owners one place to create marketing images and examine financial records.

A new business page will gather those features with customer insights and access to other software. Google says tens of millions of small business owners use Gemini, though it did not give an exact count or explain how it measured usage. It provided no timetable for individual markets.

Owners can set a reusable visual style with their website and brand materials, including fonts and colors. Google said its Nano Banana 2.1 image model can use that style to create images for product launches and marketing campaigns without owners providing the same materials for each request.

For financial analysis, owners can give Gemini receipts, spreadsheets and purchase records. Google said the app can use that information to produce visual summaries and interactive models. The announcement describes a tool for analyzing records but makes no claim about the accuracy of its financial output.

The page lists connections to Google Business Profile, Google Ads and Google Workspace. It also lists Adobe, Canva, Dropbox, Shopify, Wix, Zoho and Xero. Google did not say which of those connections were newly added with this release.

Google introduced Business notebooks and a Gemini connection to Google Business Profile in June, citing owners’ limited time and the need to retain information about their businesses. It announced Adobe and Zoho connections in September, so both had appeared in earlier releases.

To illustrate the time savings it seeks to offer, Google cited a ceramicist in Bordeaux who uses Gemini for product descriptions, newsletters and social posts. The company said the owner saves two to three hours a day, but gave no measurement period for that estimate.

Google did not specify pricing or a date for completing the rollout.
