This enhancement allows the company to leverage the strength of its diverse 9,500 -mile fiber network while focusing on industry growth demands such as the Internet of Things (IOT) and the support of Software-Defined Wide Area Network Solutions (SD-WAN).
The 100G packet network initiative is just one of many enhancements Great Plains Communications has completed in 2017. Other accomplishments include 100G Wavelength implementation, and the completion of MEF Carrier 2.0 certification for E-Line, E-LAN, and E-Access services.
