The Greek coast guard rescued another man off Samos, local outlet Samos24 reported, raising the capsize’s survivor count to 15 as crews searched for three people reported missing after two Aegean incidents killed 12 migrants.

The coast guard initially counted 14 survivors after the boat overturned north of Samos on Oct. 19. Five men and a woman died. Samos24 said the revised missing count came from survivors’ accounts.

A patrol vessel and helicopter continued searching the waters near Samos, Samos24 reported. The additional rescue updates the count in EconoTimes’ earlier coverage of the two island incidents.

Near Lesbos, a migrant boat collided with a Greek coast guard vessel. The coast guard recovered six bodies, including an infant’s, and rescued eight people. Shipping and Island Policy Minister Vassilis Kikilias said preliminary evidence indicated that the migrant boat’s bow struck the patrol vessel’s left side.

The Lesbos collision remains under investigation while crews continue searching near Samos.
