Grupo BIND's BEN says it has brought Circle technology into its platform for Argentine institutions eligible to use USD Coin (USDC), with treasury and cross-border payments among its stated uses.
Circle included a collaboration announced by Grupo BIND in its Aug. 5, 2026, business update. Grupo BIND's initial statement described BEN's integration with Circle as expected. It separately said expected operations through its registered virtual asset service provider were subject to regulatory requirements. BEN's website now describes the technology as integrated.
BEN identifies treasury operations, cross-border payments and digital asset transactions as uses for its platform. On BEN's site, No. 167 is identified as its Argentine virtual asset service provider registration; the listed platform tariff for local-currency purchases and sales is 0.35%. The tariff is listed for those transactions generally, rather than specifically for USDC.
Circle says USDC, a stablecoin linked to the U.S. dollar, is issued through its regulated affiliates. In an October 2025 report, Artemis Analytics estimated that USDC represented about 46% of the stablecoin payment volume in its Argentina sample. Artemis suggested the relatively high share may reflect startups responding to persistent currency instability.
Only 52% of companies in the broader Artemis study supplied geographic data. The Argentina figure therefore describes the report's sample, rather than the entire market, and does not measure any effect of the Grupo BIND collaboration.
