  • UK - Right move house price index dropped -1.3% in November, but still up 6.2% compared to a year ago.
  • Japan - Flash reading showed Japanese economy shrank -0.2% in third quarter.
  • Australia - New motor vehicle sales dropped -3.6% in October, still up 4.2% from a year ago.

Upcoming 

  • Euro zone - Final reading on consumer price index for October to be released today at 10:00 GMT, expected to grow by 0.1% from September. ECB president Draghi is scheduled to speak at 10:15 GMT.
     
  • Germany - German Bundesbank will release monthly report at 11:00 GMT.
     
  • US - New York Empire state manufacturing index for November to be released at 13:30 GMT. Prior -11.36, expected -5.
     
  • Canada - Manufacturing shipments for September to be released at 13:30 GMT, along with portfolio investment statistics.
     
  • Australia - RBA assistant governor Kent is scheduled to speak at 21:30 GMT.
     
  • Auctions - US will auction 3 month and 6 month bills at 16:30 GMT.
