Data released so far -

  • Japan - Nikkei manufacturing PMI 52.5 in December, down from 52.6 prior.
  • New Zealand - RBNZ inflation expectations drops to 1.85% from 1.9% prior.

 Upcoming -  

  • France - Flash reading on manufacturing and services PMI to be released at 8:00 GMT, for December.
  • Germany - Flash reading on manufacturing and services PMI to be released at 8:30 GMT, for December.
  • Euro Zone - Flash reading on manufacturing and services PMI to be released at 9:00 GMT, for December. ECB will hold non-monetary policy meeting today. Trade balance for October and CPI for November will be released at 10:00 GMT.
  • India - India might release fiscal and trade deficit data today.
  • UK - Unemployment report to be released at 9:30 GMT.
  • Switzerland - SNB will release quarterly bulletin for fourth quarter at 14:00 GMT.
  • US - MBA mortgage applications to be released at 12:00 GMT, followed by housing starts and building permits at 13:30 GMT and industrial production at 14:15 GMT. Markit manufacturing flash PMI to be released at 14:45 GMT. FOMC will announce monetary policy at 19:00 GMT, followed by press conference at 19:30 GMT. EIA will release weekly crude oil report at 15:30 GMT.
  • New Zealand - Third quarter GDP to be released at 22:45 GMT.
  • Japan - Trade balance details for November to be released at 23:50 GMT.
