Today's Focus is on durable goods orders from US.

Data released so far -

  • Switzerland - UBS consumption indicator came at 1.19 compared to prior 1.11.

Upcoming -

  • France - Business climate data will be released at 7:45 GMT.

  • Spain - Producer price index came at 8:00 GMT. Improved data would be price supportive of Spanish stocks however yields might rise.

  • Germany - IFO business survey details to be released at 9:00 GMT. Improved data would boost overall mood of investors towards Euro and DAX.

  • Italy - Non EU trade statistics to be published at 9:00 GMT.

  • UK - BBA Mortgage application to be released at 9:30 GMT. Weaker data might push pound further downwards.

  • US - MBA mortgage application scheduled at 11:00 GMT. Vital is durable goods orders to be released at 12:30 GMT. Better data would strengthen dollar.

  • Switzerland - SNB will release quarterly bulletin. Vital to look for changes in forecast or balance sheet that might impact franc.

  • Auctions - 5 year note to be auctioned by US around 17:00 GMT.
