Data released so far -

  • Australia - RBA kept policy rates on hold at 2.25%. Retail sales improved in March by 0.7%.
  • Switzerland - Forex reserve grew to 522.3 billion from prior 509.3 billion.
  • Spain - Markit services PMI grew to 57.3 from 56.2 prior.

Upcoming -

  • Italy - Markit services PMI to be released at 7:45 GMT. Prior 50.
  • France - Markit services and composite PMI is scheduled for 7:50 GMT.
  • Germany - Services and composite PMI will be published at 7:55 GMT. Prior 55.3 for both.
  • Euro zone - Services and composite PMI will be published at 7:55 GMT. Prior 54.3 and 54.1 respectively. Sentix Investor confidence is scheduled for 8:30 GMT followed by Producer price index at 9:00 GMT.
  • UK - Services PMI is scheduled at 8:30 GMT. Prior 56.7. BRC shop price index to be released at 23:00 GMT.
  • US - Redbook index to be released at 12:55 GMT, followed by economic optimism at 14:00 GMT and JOLTS job openings at 15:00 GMT. Change in consumer credit is scheduled for 19:00 GMT. FED's Kocher Lakota will be giving speech 12:50 GMT.
  • Japan - Japan will publish Trade balance statistics at 23:50 GMT.
  • Auctions - US will auction 1 month and 36 month bill around 15:30 GMT and 17:00 GMT respectively.
