- China - Consumer price index grew 1.4% y/y, however dropped -0.5% m/m in March. Producer price index dropped another -4.6% y/y in March.
- Australia - Investment lending for homes dropped -3.4% in February, however home loans are up 1.2%.
- Switzerland - Unemployment rate for March remains at 3.2%, same as previous.
- France - Industrial output for February dropped 0% from 0.4% growth prior. France failed to shrink its budgetary deficit to, now at € -23.45 billion from prior € -9.4 billion as of February.
- Spain - Industrial output improved in Spain from previous 0.4% to 0.6%.
Upcoming -
- UK - Industrial and manufacturing production data will be released at 8:30 GMT, followed by NISER GDP estimate at 14:00 GMT.
- India - RBI will declare Forex reserve around 11:30 GMT, which will be followed by manufacturing output release at 12:00 GMT.
- US - Terms of trade statistics to be released at 12:30 GMT. Two FED speakers today, Mr. Lacker at 12:30 GMT and Mr. Kocherlakota at 16:20 GMT. US govt. will release budget statistics for March.
- Canada - Housing starts statistics to be released around 12:15 GMT, followed by Employment details at 12:30 GMT.
