Economic dockets are less today, with low risk associated.

Data released so far -

  • Germany - Producer price index dropped -1.7% y/y in March, however rose 0.1% on monthly basis.

Upcoming -

  • Greece - Current account balance to be released at 9:00 GMT. Prior -0.847 billion. Positive number could boost Greek bonds, however not much improvement is expected despite weaker Euro.

  • Euro zone - Construction output are scheduled for release at 9:00 GMT. Improved dockets would brighten outlooks for stocks, however not much impact is expected.

  • US - Chicago FED will release National Activity Index at 12:30 GMT. Prior -0.11. Improvement is expected amid improved weather condition.

  • Canada - BOC governor Poloz to speak around 14:00 GMT. Highly important as might provide cues on future actions.

  • Australia - RBA governor Glenn Stevens would be giving speech around 16:30 GMT. Aussie will look for cues over future policy actions.

  • Auction - US will auction 3 month and 6 month bills around 15:30 GMT.
