Gwen Stefani, Blake Shelton 2018: Couple Will Not Buy Christmas Gifts for Each Other and Here’s Why

Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton decided not to give gifts to each other anymore on Christmas and their reason is pretty hilarious. Every year, there are people who struggle to find the perfect gift for their loved ones and it seems that the popular couple is one of them.

Gwen Stefani was on Jimmy Kimmel Live! on Dec. 6. She guested on the show to promote her “You Make It Feel Like Christmas” album so definitely there was an interview as well. At one point, Jimmy asked her if she and Blake Shelton exchange gifts in yuletide and the songstress said that it is hard for them to do it.

Gwen said that they also want to give gifts to each other however they kept on ruining the moment. The “Hollaback Girl” singer explained that they once promised not to buy gifts anymore but they always violate this agreement and in the end, their exchange gift just turned out to be a fail.

“It’s so hard! He has everything,” Gwen told Jimmy. “I feel like we’re both sitting there going, ‘Promise me you’re not going to get me anything. Let’s just not get gifts this time.’“

Gwen Stefani went on to share a story that happened not long ago. She narrated that she was doing some online shopping and found a jacket. She showed it to Blake but hesitated to buy it because it was expensive.

But then, she still bought it and thought that she could return it if she finds its quality to be not worth the price. The jacket finally arrived and when she was trying it on, Blake Shelton arrived and saw her. To her surprise, her boyfriend said, “I got you that! That’s your Christmas present!”

On the other hand, Gwen Stefani revealed that she thought of buying a leaf blower for Blake so she checked out the home depot sites. She sent the links of the items she was considering to a group chat since she wants the opinion of others to know if the product is good.

It was funny because Gwen belatedly realized that Blake was also included in that chat group so it means she just ruined it! But the thing is, she learned that her boyfriend already bought the same thing a week ago.

Meanwhile, despite their closeness and really good relationship right now, Gwen Stefani recently denied that she is already married to Blake Shelton. The songstress reiterates that the country singer is still her boyfriend and she still does not know when their marriage will happen.
