Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton look very in love however, they are not ready to tie the knot yet. It was reported that it was the former who is not yet ready to walk down the aisle and this was due to her ex-husband Gavin Rossdale.
According to Hollywood Life, even though Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton are surely having a great time together, they have not considered marriage yet. In fact, the couple is not even engaged up to now, three years after their dating admission, and this is not an issue with the “Hollaback Girl” singer.
The insiders disclosed that Gwen Stefani does not want to receive a proposal from Blake Shelton because she is still hesitant to say “yes” at this point. The reason for this is Gavin Rossdale as the singer is afraid to go through a painful divorce again.
“Gwen is hesitant to get married again, but it’s something she deeply wants to do as does Blake when the time feels right,” the source said. “Gwen is afraid to get married because she was so hurt by the ending of her marriage to Gavin Rossdale.”
Although this is how Gwen Stefani is feeling right now, she really wants to marry Blake Shelton. This means that they may get married once the songstress has healed her trauma and ready to take the plunge once again.
“Though she knows things are different with Blake, she is scared by the entire divorce process to this day,” the tipster added. “It was really hard for her. Gwen is proud of how far she has come and knows things would be different this time around, but she’s not quite there yet.”
Blake Shelton is said to have agreed to wait for the right time for them to settle. The source relayed that the country singer understands his girlfriend since he also faced divorce with Miranda Lambert. He assured his GF that he would not pressure her but they would eventually wed in the future.
Meanwhile, even when Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton are not a married couple yet, it was rumored that they are aiming to have their own child via surrogacy. It was reported that they are originally planning to go for an IVF treatment but changed their minds and looking for a surrogate now.
