Four major Indian IT-services firms reported different leaders across growth, bookings and AI in the quarter ended Sept. 30, with varying measures limiting direct comparisons.

HCLTech’s revenue rose 2.3% sequentially in constant-currency terms. Infosys reported 1.2% growth, and Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) reported 0.5%. Wipro said its IT-services revenue was flat from June.

TCS reported total contract value (TCV) of $9.6 billion. Infosys reported $5.2 billion in large-deal TCV, 62% of which was net new; HCLTech listed $3,258 million in TCV from new deals. Wipro reported $2,595 million in total bookings, including $674 million in large-deal bookings. These figures describe contracted business, not revenue recognized in the quarter. Wipro said revenue tied to bookings is recorded over a contract’s term.

The AI figures also cover different measures. TCS reported $3.1 billion in annualized AI revenue, more than 10% of its revenue. Infosys said AI accounted for 10.5% of revenue and grew 29% sequentially. HCLTech reported $219 million in quarterly advanced AI revenue, up 28.4% sequentially in constant currency, and $876 million on an annualized basis. Wipro’s Q2 release did not provide a comparable AI revenue figure.

HCLTech said it added 6,450 people, including 6,136 freshers. Infosys’ reported employee total rose by 4,480 from June to September, while TCS’ increased by 4,258. Wipro’s count fell by 6,716 over the same period. Those three changes compare quarter-end totals; they do not show all hires or departures.

For FY27, Infosys lowered its constant-currency revenue-growth guidance to 1% to 2%, from 1.5% to 3% in its prior-quarter release. HCLTech forecast FY27 revenue growth of 2.5% to 4%. Wipro projected sequential IT-services revenue growth ranging from a 1.5% decline to 0.5% growth for the quarter ending Dec. 31, 2026. Infosys lists Jan. 13, 2027, as the tentative date for its next results release.
