HFCL’s board approved the unaudited results on Oct. 19 for the quarter ended Sept. 30, according to its exchange filing. The investor presentation records July-September revenue from operations at ₹25.42 billion, 143.62% above the year-earlier ₹10.43 billion. Total consolidated profit reached ₹3.94 billion, up 448.14% from ₹719.2 million; the filing separately lists ₹3.63 billion as profit attributable to owners of the parent. HFCL operates in telecom and defense and supplies optical fiber, telecom equipment and data-center products. Its Q2 FY27 order book stood at ₹289.11 billion. The presentation assigns 64% of the book to optical fiber cable and data-center interconnect, and says exports accounted for 57%.

Managing Director Mahendra Nahata said the company expects at least 80% revenue growth in FY27 over FY26. HFCL linked the outlook to demand from AI infrastructure, hyperscale data centers and international telecom networks. It outlined about ₹18 billion in planned investment in optical fiber, cable and preform manufacturing, as well as a ₹100 billion revenue aspiration ahead of its original FY29 horizon. Delivery against the FY27 growth outlook is the stated indicator to watch.
