HOUSTON, Texas, Oct. 11, 2017 -- CADWorx & Analysis Solutions announces the release of TANK™ 2017, the newest version of Hexagon PPM’s complete solution for the design, analysis and evaluation of oil storage tanks. This latest release supports American Petroleum Institute (API) standard 579 in addition to API standards 620, 650 and 653. API 579 is a Fitness for Service (FFS) standard to evaluate the integrity and remaining life of tanks. The updated version of TANK also offers new equations and substitution capabilities that make it easier to check the accuracy of calculations.
With its menu-driven interface for quick and easy input, TANK provides users with fast and accurate designs for new tanks and evaluation of existing tanks according to the latest API standards, helping their organizations increase productivity while ensuring compliance with industry standards.
