Honasa Consumer Limited reported an 86.7% rise in September-quarter profit after tax and a wider EBITDA margin, while revenue from operations grew 35.9%, which the company described as its fastest since listing.

The company’s unaudited results cover the quarter and half year ended Sept. 30, 2026. Consolidated revenue from operations reached Rs 731 crore in the three months. Profit after tax was Rs 73 crore, compared with Rs 39 crore in Q2 FY26, based on rounded figures in Honasa’s investor presentation.

Earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) totaled Rs 93 crore. Its margin rose to 12.7% from 8.9% a year earlier, a 389-basis-point increase. Honasa also reported underlying volume growth of 31.3%, a measure that excludes price changes.

Revenue growth measures the change in sales value, while underlying volume growth removes the effect of price changes. The two figures therefore describe separate aspects of the quarter’s performance.

Honasa credited improved advertising and marketing efficiency, a shift in channel mix and operating leverage for the margin gain. Advertising expense rose to Rs 245 crore from Rs 180 crore, while its share of revenue edged down to 33.4% from 33.5%, the presentation showed.

Focus categories grew more than 40% and represented over 80% of the business, the company said. Its younger brands grew more than 45%. Mamaearth maintained high-teens growth, and The Derma Co. continued profitable growth, according to Honasa.

The company also reported stronger activity in general trade and modern trade, with modern-trade offtake rising more than 40% year over year. Cash generation in the first half of FY27 totaled Rs 110 crore, more than five times the year-earlier level, its presentation showed.

Varun Alagh, chairman and CEO and co-founder of Honasa Consumer Limited, said, “We delivered our highest growth since listing.”
