Huawei Cloud plans to stop selling its openPangu-2.0-Flash and openPangu-2.0-Pro hosted AI services Nov. 6, then begin withdrawing them Nov. 30, eventually ending access for existing customers.

New customers will be unable to buy either service after the sales cutoff. Customers who already use the services will retain access until Huawei Cloud removes them. Huawei Cloud has given no date for completing the withdrawal.

For customers moving to other models, Huawei Cloud has recommended DeepSeek-V4.1-Flash-1017 to Flash users and GLM-5.3 to Pro users.

Huawei made Flash, a 92-billion-parameter model, available as open source June 30. Its open-source release of Pro, a 505-billion-parameter model, followed July 31. The planned withdrawal concerns Huawei Cloud’s hosted services.

Huawei has said another openPangu generation is in planning, without giving it a name or release date. The next scheduled change for the current services is the start of withdrawal Nov. 30.
