Mr. Goosen to enrich the Human Touch Wellness Council with his insight and expertise as a top-ranked Official World Golf champion
LONG BEACH, Calif., Jan. 22, 2018 -- Human Touch®, the U.S. market leader of innovative massage chairs, Perfect Chair® Recliners, and other wellness solutions, is pleased to announce that it has formed a partnership with two-time U.S. Open Champion, Retief Goosen. Mr. Goosen, who was also in the top ten in the Official World Golf Ranking for over 250 weeks, will join the Human Touch Wellness Council in order to provide insight into the importance of wellness and recovery in all levels of competitive sports.
The Human Touch Wellness Council is a recognized and universally respected team of experts with insight into a variety of wellness practices, from professional athletes to medical practitioners and natural healers. The Wellness Council helps to shape and guide the development of Human Touch products, with a mission to create solutions that inform and benefit professionals, sports-enthusiasts, back pain sufferers, and consumers alike.

Retief Goosen, who was the 2001 and 2004 US Open Champion, has held memberships on three worldwide Tours (PGA Tour, European Tour and South African Tour). He also has 34 professional wins, was awarded the European Tour Player of the Year in 2001, and was awarded the European Tour Order of Merit winner in 2001 and 2002.
Retief was picked for the Presidents Cup in 2000, 2003, 2005, 2007, 2009 and 2011. He has represented his native country of South Africa in the Dunhill Cup in 1995, 1996, 1997, 1998, 1999 and 2000. He also played in the World Cup for South Africa in 1993, 1995, 2000 and 2001. He also captained the Goodwill Trophy played at Mission Hills in November 2006.
Known to his fans as "The Goose," Retief is married and has 2 children. Off the course Retief is passionate about his award-winning Goose Wine collection and also his passion for golf course design.
