Hybe plans to take its Weverse Con Festival to India in 2027 for its first edition abroad, pairing Korean and Indian performers to reach a broader audience, The Korea Herald reported.
The newspaper described the festival as part of Hybe’s move into India’s live music market. Indian culture critic Reeti Roy said a bill with several artists could attract listeners beyond established K-pop fans and reduce the financial risk of a large concert centered on one performer.
Roy identified Tomorrow X Together (TXT), Le Sserafim and Hwasa as likely draws for Indian K-pop fans. She said Indian rapper King could also appeal to people who attend festivals for a mix of music rather than a particular act.
The Korea Herald reported that TXT, Le Sserafim, Enhypen and King are scheduled to perform. Lara Raj, an Indian-American member of Katseye, is listed for a solo appearance. Her older sister, singer-songwriter Rhea Raj, is also on the reported bill. Hybe and Geffen Records partnered to form Katseye.
Other performers named in the report include Eric Nam, Hwasa, Dayoung, Reble, DJ Zelo, Ranj & Clifr and Gini. Earlier Weverse Con festivals in South Korea featured artists from different labels and musical backgrounds, the newspaper reported.
A Hybe India official said the company plans to use its concert planning and production experience to bring Korean and Indian music together at the event. Hybe subsidiary Weverse Company, which operates the Weverse fan platform, is organizing the festival.
The two-day event is scheduled for March 27-28, 2027, in New Delhi.
