The Assistance Fund received its first AQAv2 reserve-yield payment on Oct. 3, adding a revenue stream distinct from trading-fee conversions.
Each 30-day accrual cycle is followed by an eight-day wait before funds reach the Assistance Fund.
The protocol allocates 99% of its fees to the Assistance Fund. The fund turns trading-fee revenue into Hyperliquid (HYPE) before permanently burning the tokens. By Aug. 23, 2026, it had acquired and burned 46.7 million HYPE.
Hyperliquid says its protocol receives most of the AQAv2 reserve yield tied to USD Coin (USDC) on its platform, an arrangement EconoTimes previously covered.
