Hyperscale Data, Inc. said it has listed tokens representing 5,000 troy ounces of silver on Ault Markets, adding a silver-linked product to its blockchain exchange ahead of trading expected within weeks.

The company said each token represents one troy ounce of silver, and holders can request physical delivery in batches of 100. The company said the metal is held in vaults at The Wyoming Reserve. The release did not disclose a token ticker or blockchain contract address, and included no reserve attestation specific to the 5,000 ounces.

Ault Markets remained in invitation-only beta on Oct. 16. Hyperscale Data opened beta access on Oct. 8 to the decentralized exchange operating on Ault Blockchain. At the time, the company identified tokenized silver, gold and platinum as assets it planned to add. The latest release said silver-token trading should start within weeks, without setting a date.

In April, Hyperscale Data reported that its indirectly wholly owned subsidiary, Ault Global Commodities, Inc., purchased 10,000 ounces of .999 fine silver through Scottsdale Mint. In June, the company included that amount among its holdings and named The Wyoming Reserve as a storage partner. The Oct. 16 announcement did not say whether the tokenized ounces came from that purchase or update the company’s total silver holdings.

Hyperscale Data has framed tokenization as an effort to connect physical commodities with blockchain infrastructure and decentralized finance. The company has described Ault Markets as an exchange where a central operator does not control listings or trading, although its announcement did not detail the platform’s governance arrangements.

Hyperscale Data Executive Chairman Milton “Todd” Ault III said the company had bought silver, arranged procurement and custody relationships, opened exchange access and tokenized its first 5,000 ounces. The company said broader use may generate activity across its blockchain ecosystem, while offering no assurance about future trading volumes, adoption or financial results. It expects trading to begin within weeks but has not announced a date.
