International Holding Company (IHC), an Abu Dhabi group, reported a 109% increase in profit attributable to owners for the first nine months of 2026, while revenue and investment income also grew.
Profit attributable to owners reached AED 21.2 billion for the period ended Sept. 30, according to a filing with Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange. The measure differs from total profit after tax, which IHC said rose 87% on continuing operations to AED 32.5 billion in results released Nov. 5. Revenue advanced 33.2% to AED 100.5 billion.
Investment and other income climbed 214.7% to AED 24.2 billion, according to the filing. IHC said income from its Financial Services segment contributed to after-tax profit. Profit from its other seven business segments increased 37.5% to AED 12.6 billion. IHC also cited active portfolio management and expansion across its operating businesses as contributors to the period’s performance.
Revenue rose in seven of IHC’s eight segments. Real Estate and Construction generated AED 33.3 billion, the largest amount among them, up 12.8%. Energy and Mining revenue was AED 19.3 billion after a 295.1% increase. IHC said increased activity in minerals, metals and hydrocarbons drove the segment’s growth.
IHC said it deployed about AED 25 billion during the period into associates, joint ventures, financial assets and investment properties. Total assets rose 13.4% to AED 485.9 billion, while cash and bank balances stood at AED 76.6 billion at the end of September. Net debt reached AED 30.4 billion; the company attributed the increase to financing raised for its investment program.
CEO Syed Basar Shueb said the group remained focused on “financial discipline and deploying capital selectively.” For the fourth quarter, IHC identified portfolio performance and capital efficiency as priorities and said it would continue selective investment. The release set no numerical full-year earnings target.
