After President Donald Trump said she could face jail, U.S. Rep. Ilhan Omar pledged to campaign for Democratic gains in Congress as the Nov. 3 midterms approach.

Omar made the pledge in a video message to supporters Tuesday. “We’re not going to be intimidated. We’re not going to be silenced,” she said. She said she would campaign with voters and continue challenging the administration, while pressing the executive branch to answer for its actions.

Trump made the jail remark on Oct. 20 in the Oval Office, responding to a question about Omar’s possible deportation. EconoTimes previously reported the exchange.

The U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) said Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) agents carried out a judge-authorized search in the Washington area as part of an ongoing criminal investigation. The Associated Press identified the site as Omar’s home and reported that the search took place Oct. 12. The DOJ has not publicly described the inquiry’s scope.

Omar said she aims to help Democrats secure majorities in both the House and Senate in the Nov. 3 elections.
