After adding support for Bitcoin Cash (BCH) and Litecoin (LTC) on its platform, Indian cryptocurrency exchange Zebpay has announced support for Ripple (XRP) token.

Zebpay users would now be able to buy, sell, send and receive Ripple (XRP). The announcement follows the company’s November newsletter in which it said it will add more cryptocurrencies, including Ethereum.
XRP is currently the third most valuable cryptocurrency with its market capitalization around $42 billion. XRP/USD is currently trading at (1.02 levels (approximately INR 65 at current exchange rate).
“XRP is the digital asset native to XRP Ledger. The XRP Ledger is an open-source, distributed ledger. Ripple is a privately held company. XRP can handle 1500 transactions per second with an average settlement time of 4 seconds. Many institutions like Santander Bank, Axis Bank, Yes Bank etc are testing Ripple’s technology to bring down their cost and increase efficiency,” Zebpay said.
