Infosys cut its fiscal 2027 constant-currency revenue growth forecast to 1%-2% after September-quarter revenue rose 10.7% in rupee terms, while profit attributable to Infosys shareholders increased 6.2%.

The company’s audited results for the quarter ended Sept. 30 showed revenue from operations of ₹49,244 crore, compared with ₹44,490 crore a year earlier. Profit attributable to shareholders was ₹7,823 crore, up from ₹7,364 crore. Total profit for the period, which also includes non-controlling interests, was ₹7,838 crore.

On a constant-currency basis, which adjusts for exchange-rate movements, revenue grew 1.5% from a year earlier and 1.2% from the previous quarter. Revenue in U.S. dollars reached $5.145 billion, up 1.3% year over year.

The new FY27 range follows two earlier forecasts: Infosys set a 1.5%-3.5% range in April, then reduced it to 1.5%-3% in July. The company kept its operating margin outlook at 20%-22%; its margin for the latest quarter was 21%.

Infosys reported $5.2 billion in large-deal total contract value, with 62% classified as net new. Revenue tied to AI represented 10.5% of total revenue and was 29% higher than in the June quarter, the company said.

The board declared an interim dividend of ₹26 per share, 13% above the ₹23 payout declared a year earlier. Infosys estimated the payment would mean a cash outflow of about ₹10,531 crore, excluding dividend paid on treasury shares. Its capital-return policy aims to distribute about 85% of cumulative free cash flow over five years through dividends and/or buybacks, subject to applicable laws and approvals. The board was scheduled to consider the results and a dividend at its Oct. 22-23 meeting.

Infosys’ event schedule set the results release for about 6:15 a.m. ET (10:15 UTC) Friday, Oct. 23, and the investor call for 8:30 a.m. ET (12:30 UTC). The company’s investor FAQ lists Jan. 13, 2027, as the tentative date for its next results release, covering the quarter ended Dec. 31.
