CHICAGO, March 16, 2016 -- Inteliquent, Inc. (NASDAQ:IQNT), the leading provider of voice, text and messaging connectivity for communications service providers, today announced it opened a regional office in Denver, CO, due to the metropolitan area’s growing population of experienced technology professionals and proximity to key customers.
"The thriving Denver community offers a robust and unique base of talent, and is centrally located to help us continue our superior customer service,” said Matt Carter, Inteliquent’s President and Chief Executive Officer. “Our new office will complement our Growth Forward Plan and drive our transformation from a traditional telecommunications voice-only company to the premiere interconnection partner for communication providers of all types.”
The new office, located at 1500 Champa St. in the heart of Denver’s Central Business District, will initially be home to a portion of Inteliquent’s Product and Marketing teams, who include next-generation communications innovators and telecommunications veterans. Employees will focus on executing critical parts of Inteliquent’s Growth Forward Plan, which includes growing and protecting the company’s core business, diversifying revenue streams through product development, and driving margin optimization.
In addition to Denver’s proximity to customers and broad talent pool, Inteliquent also cites the region’s innovative culture as a critical component of its decision to open an office.
“Our company’s family-focused atmosphere and emphasis on work-life balance drives how we deliver the best, most creative solutions for customers,” said John Schoder, CMO and Executive Vice President, Inteliquent. “Denver’s thriving economy, healthy lifestyle, and urban and natural amenities will provide a well-rounded experience for our people.”
