Asset manager Invesco Ltd. said Oct. 27 it is working with Anthropic to make portfolio models and adviser resources available through Claude for Financial Advisors, with the aim of giving advisers access within the AI product.

Anthropic’s marketplace lists “Invesco for Advisors” as added in October 2026 and requires sign-in. It names three tools: get_model_positions, get_models and get_referral_script. The listing gives no day for the addition, and neither it nor Invesco specifies when customer access began or whether all three tools are available to every user.

Invesco says the connector is aimed at advisers and clients already using its model portfolios. Advisers can choose an existing Invesco portfolio or develop a custom model with the firm, using their preferences for asset mix, managers and investments as design inputs. The company’s lineup includes active and passive approaches, factor-based models and tax-aware strategies.

The referral tool is intended to connect advisers with Invesco’s referral support, drawing on the company’s research and scripts adapted for client conversations. Invesco presents the connector as a resource for client relationships and practice growth. “Leading technology should strengthen the value advisors bring to their clients,” said John McDonough, Invesco’s Head of Americas Distribution.

Anthropic introduced Claude for Financial Advisors on Sept. 14. The service can assist with researching topics, preparing for meetings and keeping records, the company says. Anthropic describes those tasks as a potential time burden for advisers that can limit time with clients, but the companies have not quantified time saved or business growth for Invesco’s connector.

Anthropic says people must review and approve regulated work, including investment recommendations and compliance decisions. Invesco describes its connector as an educational resource, not investment advice or a recommendation. The company warns that AI-generated information can be inaccurate, incomplete or outdated and must be independently reviewed before use. Invesco’s announcement and Anthropic’s listing do not state connector pricing or geographic availability.
