Israeli forces closed existing iron gates at the entrances to two West Bank villages on Monday, while bulldozers blocked alternate dirt roads and olive trees were uprooted, WAFA reported.

The Palestinian news agency said the gates at Al-Lubban ash-Sharqiya and As-Sawiya were shut during the events. Bulldozers blocked other dirt routes, and several olive trees near the villages’ joint secondary school were uprooted.

Local sources cited by WAFA said a memorial at the main entrance to Al-Lubban ash-Sharqiya, south of Nablus, was demolished. They also said troops seized a model map of Palestine.

Separately, Anadolu Agency reported that two Palestinians were injured in West Bank raids on Monday.

The Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission’s October report counted 3,133 attacks affecting Palestinians, their land and property across the West Bank. It recorded damage to 5,890 trees, including 4,498 olive trees.
