Only institutions JPMorgan approves can transfer JPM Coin (JPMD) on Ethereum; a post by @deacix that 1inch amplified tied the integration to a discussion of liquidity.

JPM Coin represents deposits denominated in U.S. dollars that JPMorgan customers hold. JPMorgan's authorization is a prerequisite for institutions moving the token on Ethereum, keeping its network use within the bank's institutional client base.

USD Coin (USDC) and Tether (USDT) are broadly available dollar stablecoins, while JPM Coin transfers on Ethereum require JPMorgan's authorization. 1inch gathers quotes from decentralized exchanges so traders can compare prices.
