Nicolas Jackson scored twice as Aston Villa beat Manchester City 2-1 at Villa Park in the Premier League on Oct. 24, according to ESPN's scoreboard and match report.

Arsenal drew level on points with City after beating Everton 2-0 at the Emirates Stadium. Fulham also won, beating Coventry City 1-0 away from home in the day's other completed match.

Jackson scored in the sixth and 60th minutes for Villa, with Erling Haaland replying for City in the 52nd minute. The attendance at Villa Park was 36,743, ESPN's scoreboard showed.

Haaland's header brought City level after Jackson's early opener, but the teams stayed on equal terms for only eight minutes. Jackson's second goal put Villa back in front and completed the scoring.

Villa therefore scored the first and last goals of the match, either side of City's equaliser. Jackson accounted for both of the home team's goals in a victory that gave Villa their third league win.

The result left Villa with three wins, two draws and three defeats from eight matches. City had seven wins, no draws and one defeat after the loss at Villa Park.

At the Emirates, Ezri Konsa opened the scoring for Arsenal in the seventh minute. Gabriel Magalhaes added the second with a header in the 68th minute to complete the 2-0 victory over Everton.

The two centre-backs supplied a goal in each half, with Konsa giving Arsenal an early lead and Gabriel extending it after the interval. Everton finished without a goal in front of an attendance of 60,207.

Arsenal's record stood at seven wins, no draws and one defeat, the same record as City's after the day's matches. Everton had two wins, four draws and two defeats from their eight games.

At the Coventry Building Society Arena, Oscar Bobb scored in the 80th minute to give Fulham their 1-0 victory over Coventry. The match drew an attendance of 31,449.

Bobb's goal was the only one of the match and came later than any goal in the other two completed fixtures. Fulham finished with two wins, two draws and four defeats, while Coventry had two wins and six defeats.

All three matches were played on Oct. 24. Villa and Arsenal won at home, while Fulham supplied the day's away victory.
