Japan’s Ministry of Finance has scheduled a ¥3.1 trillion Treasury discount bill auction for Nov. 6, setting the planned sale date and the deadline for any change to the offering.

The ministry’s Oct. 30 notice sets issuance for Nov. 9 and maturity for Feb. 15, 2027. It put the planned offering at about ¥3.1 trillion and said the amount may be revised. Any adjustment is to be announced Nov. 5, a day before the auction.

The new notice follows the ministry’s earlier schedule for a ¥3.3 trillion bill auction, which had set an Oct. 29 auction, issuance on Nov. 2 and maturity on Feb. 8, 2027.
