Japan’s Ministry of Finance (MOF) plans to auction about ¥250 billion in five-year climate-transition Japanese government bonds (JGBs) on Nov. 2, with issuance scheduled for Nov. 4.

The bonds are due to mature Sept. 20, 2031, the MOF said in an Oct. 26 announcement. The sale will use a Dutch-style yield-competitive format, with bids spaced at 0.1-basis-point intervals.
