The Matsuzakaya Nagoya department store in Japan is offering three-day, two-night domestic tour packages that let wealthy shoppers avoid crowded airliners and trains for about $18,200 per person for a group of four.
Participants will board a private jet at the Nagoya Airport on their chosen date to travel to their preferred destination where a helicopter will take them to their hotel.
Suggested destinations include Huis Ten Bosch theme park in Nagasaki Prefecture and Niseko in Hokkaido.
Matsuzakaya Nagoya has previously offered high-end travel packages on its own because it has a larger number of wealthy customers than other group outlets or areas.
Matsuzakaya Nagoya is operated by department store chain group Daimaru Matsuzakaya.
The tour offering is the first time for the group to provide a luxurious travel plan.
The company is looking for overseas travel plans with a private jet after the coronavirus is contained.
