Last week, gossip media claimed that Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt secretly remarried each other. The narrative exploited the ex-couple’s would-be 18th anniversary on July 29 by writing stories that the two have rekindled their previous relationship.
Now, a new speculation has surfaced, this time claiming that Jennifer Aniston flew to Italy in order to “escape” the allegations that she has returned to the arms of Brad Pitt, Celebrity Insider reports (via Gossip Cop). But similar to the first story, this emerging narrative is another false claim.
Jennifer Aniston is currently in Portofino, Italy because she’s shooting her upcoming Netflix film “Murder Mystery.” The movie’s plot is centered on a couple’s vacation to Europe, where the two end up being prime suspects when a wealthy man is murdered on his yacht. Meanwhile, Brad Pitt is working on his film “Once Upon a Time in Hollywood” where the “Troy” Actor is to star alongside another Hollywood heavyweight, Leonardo DiCaprio.
Given that both Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt are busy with their work schedules, it’s impossible that the two got remarried recently. This makes the latest rumor about the “Friends” alum completely false as well.
Econotimes already reported that while the two have been communicating with each other, their messages consist of small greetings and polite conversations. Jennifer Aniston has not been seen with Brad Pitt since they broke up in 2005 and it’s likely they won’t be seeing each other any time soon.
As for their upcoming 18th anniversary, it’s possible that they will contact each other again on that date wishing each other well and nothing more. There’s also a strong possibility that another Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston rumor will surface on that day. The question now is, what ridiculous claims are the gossip columns going to serve up about next?
